I decided to create this blog in order for friends and family (and now my lovely fitblr friends) to keep up with my weight loss progress and daily struggles/accomplishments along this journey. I hope this entertains you somewhat and feel free to Ask Me anything!!

OK, so my office is doing this health initiative for the summer.

They are doing a health fair in June, a biggest loser competition from June through the end of August, and another competition that stems form the biggest loser where the team who walks from Alaska to Key West wins prizes. (Obviously its not actually walking from there…but if each team member walks the 1.5 miles daily by the end of the competition is will add up to the distance between Alaska and Key West).

So that being said, I have been elected Team Captain for our team! We need a kick ass name so we can have tshirts made!!!

The name of the Company is SemiSouth and I want to try and incorparate that into the name. 

Does anybody have any team name suggestions?

I feel like I need some new cooking ideas for my veggies. I feel like I’ve roasted my asparagus, Brussel sprouts, broccoli to hell and back. Anybody got anything different?

One of my favorite parts of being home for the summer is finally being able to grill again and shrimp have to be my favorite grill food! I paired them with a serving of cilantro lime rice and a side salad topped with homemade pico de gallo salsa (I also had 2 slices of watermelon for dessert).

I hate when this happens!

this kept happening today!

…now on to the second book. I can think of nothing else…..literally

New job is AMAZING! I love getting up and going to work everyday! Now if I can get my workout schedule to pull itself together everything would be peachy!!!

My idea of a TALLBOY this is my third refill today (Taken with instagram)

Now my thighs are sore.

30 seconds each of those for 4 rounds (was supposed to be 6 but I got there late)

  • Abs on the stability ball
  • Spin bike
  • Stepper
  • Plank
  • Rope swings
  • Push-Ups

Then we did abs:

  • 50 normal crunches
  • 50 crunches up to your toes
  • 50 flat out crunches
  • 2 sets of 30 Russian twists

I wasn’t paying attention at the grocery store and bought the Morning star patties instead of the BOCA Burgers I normally buy…..I actually GAGGED when I bit into the patty.
